Large room, comfortable, free laundry facility, very helpful staffs/owners even drive us to the bus station. Facility for coffee/tea and meals.

Very friendly and conveniently located. Lukang is an absolute must visit for anyone interested in traditional Taiwanese life and this hotel is the perfect place to stay while you’re here. Highly recommended.

The building is rather funny with few small windows, where there could have more and larger ones. We were used to rooms in Taiwan mentioning the existence or absence of of windows in a room, so we were a bit fooled by the photo’s that showed windows, mainly in bathrooms. Our room only had a windows in the bathroom. Since there was a glass wall between the room and the bathroom, there was at least daylight in our room, but not as much as and not in the way one would wish. The room was big enough though and we were welcomed by a young woman who spoke some English, but was clever enough to understand what we were trying to say and when she couldn’t figure it out was very proficient with her translation app. When she was not around it was harder to communicate with the staff. The reception hall is big but not very inviting to hang around, but if you need a chair and table it’s the only place to be. And tea and coffee are available for free. No breakfast options and it took us some time to find them in the vicinity. Lukang isn’t big, so you might say that any place is well positioned. The hotel isn’t the best option, but if you end up there it isn’t the end of the world.
