The hostel gave me the opportunity to meet new people! That was very fun! Although we were in 16 people inside the room, it gave me the vibe of sort of a camping with strangers. The rest of the place was pretty much equipped, there were 3 fridge to store your own stuff, a small kitchen to cook and a swimming pool that was used also by the guest of the hotel. Yes! The hotel and hostel are two different buildings and both has access to the pool area. There is a big garden to walk around and a vineyard as well. Very accessible and noise from the train station is not very heard by those who stayed in the hostel, the building of the hotel is much more closer to the station. Great staff as well! I was very amazed by them that they were able to switch easily from Italian, while they were talking to me, to English,German or French. I would love to stay again!

Hotel&Hostel Montarina is a perfect spot for those who travel alone. The places is located nearby the train station and the city center.

The location was sublime; romantic, rich, well situated in the midst of palm trees, with moi rain view, a swimming pool and excellent staff. Furthermore, we were lucky to have found a lot of groceries that were left behind by a former group which made us very creative.

The staff was very welcoming and kind. The Ticino ticket they give you at arrival is super useful. Also, they have a washing machine and dryer in the hostel that you can use with coins, which is very convenient.

Nice place, good location. Beds are comfortable. The swimming-pool is great! The exterior of the house is quite chic and the inside clean and well maintained. Also the location is quite practical, close to the train station, and the city center is just on the other side of the train station.
