Hotel Overview

Built in 1884, Hotel Victoria in Lugano-Paradiso stands right on the shore of Lake Lugano and offers panoramic views over the bay and of Mount Bre. All rooms were completely renovated in 2015 and come with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi.
There are 2 reasonably-priced restaurants/pizzerias on site, offering views of the lake and of the palm tree-lined avenue in front of Hotel Victoria. During summer you can dine outside on the charming terrace. The well-known Dancing Club Cecil is also located on site and offers live music on weekends. It is completely soundproofed.
A short walk away, you can find a bank, a hairdresser, a public swimming pool and the funicular up the San Salvatore Mountain.
Public parking on the roads is free of charge in the evenings and during the night. A public car park is available for a fee in the immediate vicinity.

Great view, just by the lake of Lugano. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Close to Funicolare Monte San Salvatore. Also there is Migros close to the hotel.

The breakfast was very good. The view to the lake was fantastic. The location was excellent. Exactly on the lake shore. Had a parking space across the street (with an low extra fee)

Magnificent view, magnificent building, very cosy breakfast room and absolutely enjoyable selection for breakfast. Staff welcoming. A real room key!

Quite a quirky hotel. It’s one of the cheaper stays in Lugano but still provides good facilities. We had a comfy night stay and even had an evening meal in the restaurant which was nice. It is also very close to Paradiso train station.

Excellent location right in front of Lake Lugano. Conveniently located to access the town by bus. The hotel facilities seemed a little past their prime but were all perfectly functional and helped to provide a little old world charm. Good breakfast.

It had quite a charm which made it even better! The location and view of the room was amazing! It was very close to the train station which made it convenient. It’s around 20 minutes walk to the Lugano centre which actually is a very nice walk along the lake.
