Kristina is an exemplary hostess, she showed me to my room even though I arrived very late in the evening. The room was impeccably clean, well appointed and very cosy. Breakfast was fantastic, even though I threw in a ‘gluten-free’ curveball at 10:30 the previous evening. A sign of great service is going the extra mile - that’s exactly what I experienced. No wonder there are so many repeat guests.

Everything was wonderful .Guesthouse Castagnola is a little Swiss Heaven perched above the lake nearby Lugano . Sweet Kristina , the owner, was very friendly , attentive and welcoming. . My room was Beautifully decorated, very comfortable with a great shower . I arrived late in the evening, and to my surprise, Kristina brought me the Most delicious Iced lemon verbena tea with cookies. Next morning. 7min walk down to the lake to join a yoga class, take a refreshing swim and a relaxing scenic walk. Can’t wait to go back and stay a week . Highly recommend!
