Sunday lunch was delicious, lots of fresh veg, pork & yummy crackling Breakfast at the next door Kitchen was great too. Lots of choice & freshly cooked, not just ‘full English’ Our room was spotless & very comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. . The bedroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. And the restaurant catered for all tastes at reasonable prices.

We had to travel a few hours to Ludlow to see a relative at Christmas and we had booked Christmas Day lunch at The Clive, so it made sense to stay there on Christmas Eve. At the time of our original booking the room was £125 but we re-booked nearer to our stay, when the price had reduced to £75. It was excellent value for money; our room was in a purpose-built annexe, and was well-maintained, spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed - tea and coffee, mini fridge, armchairs, comfortable beds, a TV, and well-equipped bathroom with big fluffy towels. We had the option to pay for breakfast but we took our own food, partly because we were having lunch in the restaurant on Christmas Day. We've eaten at The Clive on various occasions when visiting the area, and as expected, the lunch was absolutely delicious and well-presented. One of the highlights of The Clive is the friendly and attentive staff who do their utmost to look after their guests.

This was the first time I had been offered Breakfast on the Clive Arms premises and I LOVED it. I was disappointed that no other meals were offered on my first full day nor was Breakfast offered on the day I checked out. Your Breakfast was better than the Ludlow Kitchen's. However I was very disappointed that on the second morning I had to go to the Ludlow Kitchen for Breakfast and any other meals.

The hotel is part of a larger complex which is nice. The bar is pleasant . Our room was lovely
