Location is great for exploring the town on foot . Close to the big church which rings bells loudly early and late but I wore ear plugs ! The breakfast was excellent . Our room was directly above the restaurant and entrance with no additional doorways in between to stop the noise in the evening . Again with earplugs not too Much of an issue . The decor of our room is interesting with an ancient ceramic oven for heating the old building - looking rather like a baptismal font ! The room was well appointed with everything you need including a small kitchenette area.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was convenient next to bus stops and near lakeside. Part of staying in Lucern is you get a city pass which provides free public transportation. This was great. The restaurant is lovely and the meals are delicious but be prepared to pay a little bit more. Portions were generous so totally worth it. Breakfast was good. Limited options but good coffee and service. Room was warm, bed was large, and bathroom space was decent. Really enjoyed having individual duvets (doonas) rather than a large shared one. Note they don’t do sheets here.

Nice little hotel with great staff, location, breakfast and room. My family of 4 stayed comfortably in the large room. Plus the tram station is right in front of the hotel. Train station is just 2 stops away.
