The location is really great, very much central and offers a wide variety of convenience right outside its doors— the small pizzeria right beside, the bars & ristoranti within walking distance, shopping areas and even some of the main sights in Lucca.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of Lucca, close to shops, bars and restaurants. All the sites are within easy walking distance. Scrupulously clean. Good breakfasts of coffee, fruit and pastries, ideal! Alessandro, the host, was extremely kind, attentive and very informative. Many thanks, we had a lovely stay.

So central you can walk anywhere within the city walls in 10-15 minutes. Our room was on the street side but was very quiet. The building is beautiful, and we had a very warm welcome from Alessandro.

Totally authentic and full of history; original structural fabric of house. Great location within the old city of Lucca; felt very much part of the community. Our host Alessandro could not have done more to help us, both before and during our stay. He was incredibly responsive to any correspondence and supplied us with great local information of where to go during our stay. Good breakfast every day where we met some lovely fellow travellers.

Location in centre of the walled town, and staying in a historical building was a privilege. The host was very accommodating with check in and was very attentive. The view from our room was exceptional.

A lovely building and exceptionally good accomodation plus an amazing host (the best host in all our 4 places), thank you Alessandro ! He really looked after us and made a beautiful breakfast each morning. The room was comfortable and an ideal location to explore Lucca. We could easily pop back to rest our weary legs. Had a mini bar too ! It’s believed Dante stayed there, which made it all the more interesting.

Hostest with the mostest. I do not say this lightly. He went out of his way to help us get in and out - a little complicated in Lucca. Very thankful for his kindness and generosity. Room was delightful - comfy and quiet. Felt like I was in a palace for a night. For breakfast, our host goes out and gets fresh pastries. Bed and pillows were comfy. Shower good. Windows opened onto an inner courtyard, so quiet. Right in the heart of Lucca. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay here. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast included Italian pastries and excellent coffee! The hotel's location was in the center of town with parking available close by. Excellent experience!
