The hostess Constanza is charming, welcoming and always helpful. Her breakfasts are legendary! The house itself is very well appointed and comfortable, with secure off road parking. On the main road outside are bus stops into and out of the city. I recommend you become familiar with the bus routes, which you can do via Google street maps, to get around the whole of Lucca easily and cheaply. The buses are mostly mini bus size and some routes go right through the narrow streets within the city walls. If you prefer walking, you can reach the nearest point of the town walls within 10-15 minutes walk.

Set in a beautiful garden, this renovation project founded on an old convent had incorporated many original features. The hosts, mother and daughter, were genial and helpful. They offered us a very good breakfast and although the accommodation is in the heart of Lucca, only about 15 minutes walk to the city centre, it is a very tranquil setting. Parking is secure.

The hotel was in a great location and nice & quiet. We booked all 3 rooms for family. The place was very charming, and very quiet. I think it was an old convent and had walls around the property so that kept it private. The host, Constanza, was very informative when we arrived and personally showed us to our rooms. She also gave good information and directions on how to get inside the walls of Lucca. Breakfast was fantastic and served in a room that opened up to the beautiful garden.
