“It’s a beautiful old building but it really could do with a bit of maintenance.”

Nothing in particular. It was adequate. It’s a nice old building but it needs a lot of TLC. When we asked to move rooms, they were very accommodating and we got a much nicer one for the same price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Cheap price and very nice room. they clean it everyday. The manager speak great English, he help us to arrange the train ticket to Vientiane and motorbike for rent. He also gave us great advises about where to go and what to do. Thank you Ben and your team, you guys are awesome.

staff were super friendly and accomodating. moved us to a better room because the one they initially put us in had some problems. breakfast was fine, nothing special but adequate for the price of the stay.

The hotel is in a very quiet location and you can get everywhere on foot. I didn't enjoy breakfast because I always get up early and am out and about. So I can't say anything about that. My room even had a small balcony, so it was great to spend the evening there. Otherwise it was very spacious for one person. There would have been plenty of room for a second person. There are small shops nearby, but you have to go into the city center to get to a large supermarket. It takes about 15 minutes on foot. The internet worked really well and was stable. If you need a taxi, LOCA works very well. I used it a few times to cover longer distances or to get to the airport. All in all, I felt very comfortable in the hotel. Even if the other guests were a bit louder, that's not the hotel's fault. You can't choose your family or guests.
