Location looking over the Mekong. Proximity to the heritage area. Care of managers in looking after me. I ended up staying extra days as a result.

Mekong Charm River View is the most beautiful hotel in Luang Prabang. We have been here for 1 night as our time is limited. We love the hotel, the room is nice and big, All the rooms have a private balcony. There are some rooms in front of the hotel that have a view of the Mekong river. The staff is polite and helpful, especially Linh, she could arrange the tours and train, bus tickets for you. Also she gave us a lot of information we needed to know during my stay in Luang Prabang. We recommend this hotel and we will be back in one day shortly.

Delightful villa in tranquil setting overlooking the river. Room was spacious, comfortable and cool. Breakfast was fresh with a good selection. The manager and staff were especially friendly and helpful.

Lynn the manager was very welcoming and helpful. She talks through a map of the town, explaining all of the key areas, whilst you enjoy a welcome drink. The guest house was very quaint, spacious and quiet, with a great breakfast overlooking the river. Plenty of options for breakfast. 5 minutes walk to the centre with even more restaurant options. Would recommend.

Very cute and charming place just at the river and easy to walk around from there. Many great food and coffee options nearby. Also breakfast at Mekong river was very special.

The Vietnamese lady who is managing the place is outstanding. You are greeted in a very friendly manner and are given lots of good tips for excursions over a drink. The whole time I could observe that she really cares about the well-being of her guests. The rooms have the charm of traditional old houses, but a few minor renovations/repairs in the bathroom would be good. The very good breakfast is served on a terrace directly on the Mekong. The house has apparently been renamed, which is why you should look up the other names on Google so that you can give the taxi driver information.

Everything about our stay here was fantastic! The room was well appointed and beautifully laid out. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a good little desk, a good sized wardrobe with plenty of hanging space, and a lovely little balcony with comfortable seating and a table. The bathroom was very good, well designed and with a great shower (always hot). The cleaning was also to a very high standard. But the best of all was Lin on the front desk. She is amazing! She makes you feel really welcome, nothing is too much trouble and she manages the place brilliantly. She knows everything you could need to know to make your stay in Luang Prabang enjoyable. And she does a million things withouot ever getting flustered! She maintains a warm, calm, caring presence. Honestly can not fault a single thing about the place.
