room was clean, shower was good, and there is a cheap railway van service, breakfast is do-it-yourself with 2 eggs/ person, salad, toast und banana

Right opposite the temple for the morning alms service. Really nice balcony for chilling and a good breakfast. Lockers were secure.

Location: -it's right where you can observe alms giving in the morning.there's a temple opposite the hostel. -walk straight down and it's all cafes, massage places and right at the end is the night mkt

Beautiful building with nice dorm rooms with big beds and curtain, plug and individual light. Nice location in a slightly more quiet part of town but still only a short walk from night market etc. very friendly staff.

Very excellent location, cozy, and clean room. Fantastic building. Breakfast is good close to beautiful temple and Khan riverside. But staff active for European guest more than Asian customer. Overall is reasonable price.

Great location. It's not far from Wat Xiengthong in one direction and the night market in the other direction. I recommend renting a bike from the hostel for a very reasonable price. They also offers shared taxis to the bus and train stations, and long haul transport bookings to Nong Khiaw, Vientiane, Vang Vieng, Hanoi and many other destinations. Just tell the counter one day in advance.
