The property is very close to the train station making it easy to navigate with suitcases. The house keep lady was very accommodating and went above and beyond to assist. Whilst there is no room iron she kindly ironed my items I would wear marking my visit to the holy grotto.

The gentleman on reception even stopped the traffic so I could park next to the hotel. Lady gave my wife ice to helps swollen eye. The main attractions are only 7 minutes slow walk. Great venue.nothing

Hotel Acropolus was just what we needed after a long journey. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were welcoming and warm.

Firstly, the perfect location. Less than 10 mins walk to / from the train station, which is where the airport bus also stops. And perfectly situated for the main Groto pathway. I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile by the owner and that personal touch remained all the way through. She is hard working, attentive and diligent. Like all of the hotel, the bedroom was spotless, mine had a comfortable double sizes bed, TV with a bath/shower - and clean linen each day. The breakfast was a feast. Fresh baguette, cheeses, jams , boiled egg (and various meats for those that do), pastries and proper fresh coffee! I can not fault this small, humble, private & family run hotel. Thank you.
