Staff were very friendly and polite. A very warm and relaxed atmosphere. Felt really at home. Food was of a high standard. A good menu. The room was clean and well furnished. The town is set in lovely countryside and has lots of character and plenty of shops Excellent value for money

This was a nice friendly place to stay. Dinner the night before was good. As was breakfast. We stayed a few days before Christmas - the pub seemed to have lots of regulars having fun.

All meals were superb. Pasta and curry dishes are excellent. Great breakfast too. Comfy bed always important!

Breakfast was good. It would of been useful to know the distance from the car park to the property. We struggled with our luggage as I'm disabled. It's a beautiful setting but we won't be going back

Very comfortable room which was clean, bright and spacious. Good choice on the breakfast menu, we had the full English each day and it was beautifully cooked and arrived at the table pipping hot. We had dinner there most days, excellent choices on the menu especially the specials board. Everything we had was beautifully cooked and flavoursome. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. The location was so central to everything we wanted to visit.

Room was comfortable and well furnished. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Food excellent both evening meal and breakfast had some good choices.

Clean comfortable room . Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Very dog friendly. We were able to eat breakfast in the dining room with our dogs. We had a evening meal which was very tasty. Nice friendly atmosphere . We would definitely stay again.
