Great breakfast! Clean rooms, bathrooms and even kitchen. Very helpful staff. Wifi was fast. View from window was also nice(check photos). Everything was way better than I expected. Totally recommend!

The location means there is about 25 mins of extra walking compared to other more central options, but all tours offer pick-up and drop-off from the hotel so this is a non issue unless you explore on your own. The restaurant food is good, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff is also very friendly.

Very nice cabins and amazing staff, location is not very central but close to the polar bear sign and with less light pollution in case you are looking for the northern lights

Breakfast had a wide selection of choices. Room was clean, tidy and well presented. ( nice touch with the dressing gowns). Food/ drinks not overly expensive ( it is a remote island after all!!)

Breakfast was very well presented and a reasonable selection all you needed. accomodation was basic but everything you needed was thier and good kitchen was busy but well worth included in accomodation as meals in town were expensive,dinning at coal miners was good tasty food,all in all a very nice place to stay and meet fellow travellers at a very good price. if you want more luxury stay in town and pay more. But id stay here anytime and spend the money saved on trips etc. In my opinion stay here and enjoy.

All is really clean, the rooms are well warmed and comfy. The buffet breakfast is top class and the staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast was very delicious, range of buffet: buns, home baked bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, juice. You can always top up your water in the reception, hotel is surrounded by beautiful range of mountains and you can see reindeer come up close enough to get a good picture. I also heard arctic foxes at night time! Wonderful!

Great staff, friendly and courteous; excellent choice of food at breakfast; really comfortable beds in spacious room (with basin). The position of the accommodation out of town is great; less light and buildings, and with wonderful hills around. We often saw Svalbard reindeer close to Cabins. It’s a half hour walk into town for the superb Svalbard Museum. Very much enjoyed their evening meals too. We had a wonder stay here.
