Brilliant pitstop on the way to the peak district. Pub is a lovely village Inn with good beer and very friendly staff with great communication even before we arrived. Plenty of parking at the back We expect the room to be about the pub but actually in separate building behind which is great if you were worried about noise. Lovely room with everything you could want comfortable bed and most importantly to us the whole place is dog friendly. Highly recommended, wonderful value for money. Great breakfast menu which was included.

Lovely cosy pub in a nice village. Staff are very friendly. Good home cooked food. Comfortable cosy rooms at a good price. We would stay again and would recommend a visit.

Max was helpful regarding the restaurant closing at 6pm, he asked the chef if they could extend the hours but it was not possible. He phoned other restaurants in the area to try and get us a later booking, he also give us information on takeaways. I emailed The Falcon when I made my booking to try and reserve a particular room on the first floor, this was actioned. Thanks for a lovely stay and Happy New Year

The quaintness of the property and comfortability of the room. Very pleasant. The room had everything we needed from a fridge and soap and shampoo in the bathroom.

We have stayed here a few times before and again everything was spot on. Rooms spotless, comfortable beds and fabulous breakfasts to start your day. Evening meals very good quality and bar area vey comfortable. Dogs allowed in the bar so great for our four legged friends.

Comfortable country pub with excellent rooms. Food excellent. Breakfast outstanding. Staff lovely friendly, and couldn't do enough for me. Rooms modern, warm and clean. Comfy beds. Nice fluffy towels ALL IN ALL EXCELLENT. ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS I HAVE STYAED IN THIS YEAR
