The hotel itself was nice with the location and can't fault the staff - they were all great. However I would really recommend you don't book a windowless room. I didn't realise the room would also be underground, and it was was so unbearably hot with no ventilation at all - the air con barely produced any airflow. The room is already small, which was fine, but adding the temperature made for a very claustrophobic stay, which was highlighted by hearing the rumble of the London underground every few minutes.

Genuinely - Great location for the Barbican. Staff were very nice and helpful - believe me, that is not a common thing. Price for Central London absolutely marvelous. I loved the history of the building, seriously, I love that kind of thing. Really quiet at night. Clean - ample hot drink sachets - these things are important. I just wished the Barbican Center was as accommodating to paying guests, because my evening out there was a disaster, and they seem like they do not wish to engage me with my issue.

Overall very good the only issue I had was on my first night the aircon in my room wasn't working. Normally this wouldn't be an issue only for the fact it was a windowless room and very stuffy without aircon. The staff were very helpful and a fan was supplied and they gave me a different room the next day.

amazing location, bed was very comfortable, room was really clean and the shower pressure was lovely! staff were very welcoming and really professional. toiletries were really nice and lovely options for hot drinks in the morning.
