We have just come back from an amazing stay at The Dilly. It is a beautiful building with gorgeous flowers and displays inside. I had replied to an email asking the purpose of our visit, I let them know it was a special treat for our daughter’s 10 birthday. WOW! There were gifts and cakes in the room, balloons, rose petals on the bed. It absolutely made her birthday and we both have fabulous memories. We will be back and thank you for making her 10th birthday so special.

Fantastic customer service! Free upgrade with room decorated for our Birthdays with free cakes/bubbles! Such a lovely touch! Huge shout out to Paul the Doorman and the lovely Scottish lad in bar! Loved the beds! So comfy - really lovely breakfast too! Lots of choice and beautiful room. Would love to return!

We chose to stay at this hotel for its location - we know London relatively well and knew it would be within walking distance of all the places we planned to go. We were given a free upgrade which was a delightful surprise and birthday treats were left in our room. This hotel knows how to make their guests feel welcome, special and valued. The hotel itself was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Looking to stay again in June as I was impressed.

Amazing location in the heart of everything. Everything worked as expected, the room was very comfortable, lovely view over the city, but no traffic noise whatsoever. We even got early check-in. The best part, however, were the lovely surprises in the room upon our check-in. The trip was a birthday surprise for a friend, and the room was decorated accordingly, with personal touches, which my friend loved! The beds were very comfortable.

Wow what can I say. I booked two nights for me and my aged father and the hotel made incredible efforts to make him/us feel welcome, with a special welcome presentation on the bed and a bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket in the room. A lot of effort went into making us welcome so really appreciated for a memorable stay. We were also given a room upgrade so the room itself and bathroom were massive by London standards. Perhaps the biggest I have seen in the city. I enjoyed the view over the rooftops of London from the bedroom, as far as Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster and Westminster Cathedral. It may be off peak rates but the value for money for a five star in London and Piccadilly (just one block from Piccadilly Circus) were off the scale. Elsewhere the hotel is highly elegant in all respects with a classy glass breakfast room. The breakfast selection was fine - more than adequate but this is always a matter of taste. Staff throughout were highly courteous and helpful.
