The Columbia Hotel is a non smoking establishment and respectfully ask guests to adhere to this policy. If a room has been smoked in, it shall be necessary to apply a charge of GBP 150.00 to the room account to cover additional costs such as deep cleaning and the necessity of having to put the room off for the following days guest arriving.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Location, friendly staff ,if you are looking for a central, clean, cheap london hotel this is the place for you. Decor is dated but shabby chic, bathrooms from the 60s, shutters on some windows. But the bed is comfortable, sheets clean, rooms cleaned daily and the location is great ,opposite Hyde Park ,a short walk to Kensington Palace, bus outside hotel directly into central london. Short walk to the tube. Lots of eateries a short walk away in Queensway. I have stayed here twice and if i come to London again i will be staying at the Columbia.

The hotel room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was great with a beautiful view of hyde park. The staff were friendly and super helpful. I loved the hotels location, it was so peaceful in the mornings. Also the location is just perfect for a walk around the city center.
