We had a budget room for £95. We were upgraded from a lower ground room to the 3rd floor with a window. The room was acceptable. Clean and functional. No frills. For London it was fine.

“Very good”

Having Autism the large windows flooded the room with natural light. Furthermore, there are both bedside lamps and floor lamp for those with sensory issues/ like to have ambience. Spacious floor space so you don't feel confined. Good size sink and shelf area to place bathroom products. Plug sockets by the bed. Proper size kettle and fridge. TV with a good range of channels Ryan and Sanna were friendly and helpful, addressing any issue that arrose. Quietly situated in a residential area, walking distance to Paddington but Bakerloo line nearby. Lovely coffee /bar room with wall mural and greenery and well upholstered furniture.

“A bit past its best, but location is good and if you get a discount, it's decent value for money”

It's a good location in a nice area, and clearly the hotel was grand back in the day. Staff were nice though, and it's a nice old building and the place is functional (had a kettle, tea/coffee in the room, nicely renovated bathroom).

“Quick get away”

Loved the location , loved the history of the hotel , the building is lovely and quirky. It's Cosy and I felt very safe being a solo lady , Warrick avenue underground just round the corner , bakerloo line or a quick stroll from paddington and canal.

I grew up in warwick avenue, it's a beautiful area so this is a great place to stay , it's calm, but a stones throw from oxford/ regents st etc i remember my grand parents staying at the hotel. It's still very impressive and on first glance quite luxurious but if you look closely the carpets are a little threadbare and the chairs in the reception need some TLC, this can add a little charm depending on how you look at it and everything is clean but I think that the interiors would benefit from a little make over , and a little modern energy, it all feels a little stuck in the past and slightly neglected. The interet connection is hit and miss but then there are many cafes nearby with wifi, notably formosa street. I ve stayed here twice and was perfectly comfortable. I would recommend, especially for the area, check out clifton nurseries, a hidden gem, for food, coffee and unwinding.

“Comfortable stay”

Everyday they clean our room to make it spotless. We get new toiletries so saves us money. The whole place is elegant. The staff from reception to the restaurant are very polite and kind and accommodating.
