Overlooking leafy Green Park, this stylish and elegant 5-star hotel offers luxurious and contemporary rooms, suites and apartments, as well as a boutique spa.
Opposite Royal Parks and Buckingham Palace, The Athenaeum is only 15 minutes’ walk from Oxford Street’s shops and the theatres of the West End.
Many of its spacious, air-conditioned rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows. Each room features a flat-screen TV with pay-per-view movies. Guests also have access to complimentary WiFi.
116 at The Athenaeum is a contemporary, British restaurant headed up by Executive Chef, Ian Howard. Relaxed yet chic interiors paired with inimitable service create a warm atmosphere to dine in. The inspiring, seasonal menus champion local producers and use only the very best ingredients.
The spa offers relaxing treatments, a beautiful relaxation room, wet area, and a well equipped fitness room.
Use of the Spa facilities as well as treatments need to be booked in advance by contacting the hotel directly.

Cosy yet luxurious, our Superior Rooms are ideal for short breaks or business travellers. Incorporating the best of British craftsmanship, a super-comfy Hypnos bed,with Egyptian cotton linen guarantees a great night’s sleep. Also, high-pressure showers and luxurious bathrooms.

With Hypnos beds, Egyptian cotton linen, high-pressure showers and luxurious bathrooms. Space for baby cot. Deluxe rooms are located in the main hotel block as well as in our townhouses which are located at the back/side of the hotel.

One-Bedroom Apartment - enter dates to see room photos

The apartments are housed in a row of Edwardian town houses next to the hotel. Each one has its own private street entrance and all are linked to the hotel by a private corridor. Individually decorated, the apartments are a mix of classic English and modern town-house styles, with a fully equipped kitchenette. There is a twice-daily maid service and guests staying in the apartments also have full use of all the amenities and services of the hotel. Some of the apartments have a queen-size sofa bed in the lounge and can accommodate up to 3 or 4 people sharing (at an additional cost). These apartments are available on request, subject to availability.

This suite has a DVD player, air conditioning and bathrobe. Some of the suites are of a closed plan and others of an open plan. These one-bedroom suites provide floor-to-ceiling views over Green Park and a large seating area. Rich furnishings bring together the best of our heritage and British craftsmanship, while carefully curated British art captures the spirit of London. Bedrooms have luxuriant King beds topped with Hypnos mattresses, a pillow menu, soft bathrobes, slippers and access to our ‘stay individual’ menu with more luxuries available to order. Classic marble bathrooms incorporate spacious walk-in showers, heated towel rails and non-steam mirrors.

The Townhouse rooms sleep a maximum of two guests in either a King bed or twin beds. 19 sq. m. Room Features: Mini Bar, Tea & Nespresso coffee making machine, Complimentary Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning, Iron and ironing board, safe, hairdryer, 110V and 240V plugs, LED flat-screen satellite TV, En Suite bathroom with power shower, Molton Brown Products, slippers & bathrobes. Small but perfectly formed, our Townhouse Rooms are tucked away in our Residences.

Deluxe Double with Bay Window - enter dates to see room photos

Featuring free toiletries and bathrobes, this double room includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. The spacious air-conditioned double room features a flat-screen TV with cable channels, soundproof walls, a minibar, a tea and coffee maker as well as city views.

Mr. Jason Friends, the front office manager was absolutely incredible. He managed to respond to our needs as a family of 4. Finding adequate accommodation without putting us through hassles. Yasir qureshi also was very considerate. Concierge service William was just incredibly friendly and supportive. In fact all the staff, bell boys included were very friendly, attentive and service oriented.
