Please note that an extra charge might apply.To reach the Hour Glass, you can take bus 343 from Tower Bridge, London Bridge and Elephant and Castle, bus 136 from Elephant and Castle and bus 42 from Liverpool Street, Tower Bridge and East Street.Property reserves the right to refuse guests with no ID or booking confirmation and to pre-authorise credit card 3 days prior to arrival date.With 3rd party credit cards, the property requires the booker's permission via email to charge.Time-restricted parking is available nearby on Thurlow Street and Kinglake Street, between 18.30 and 8.30. On-site parking is available and surcharge applies: GBP 8.00 for one regular vehicle per day and GBP 11.00 for one commercial/van/pick-up per day. Please notify the reception upon your arrival.A fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric kettle and kitchenware is available for guests to use.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The host is very friendly and is supporting you very well. The pub is a small one and not really a vibrant location. The room is good and everything is available (refrigerator, douche and there is a kitchen for all hostal guests).

Quirky pub/hotel in a residential area. The rooms were basic but good, with a sink, a small fridge, kettle etc and a TV. The shared bathrooms sufficed well enough, always had hit water for showers. There was a communal kitchen with oven, microwave, washing machine and dryer, as well as a table you could easily sit 4 people at. No time restrictions on coming and going, with a separate key for the building and one for the room. I always sleep with earplugs as I'm a light sleeper and I slept well, as even though it is above a pub, the area was fairly quiet at night time. Best thing is the location, only a short bus ride from the centre of London and all the other connections you need. If I come to London again any time soon, I will be using the Hour Glass hotel again. The staff were very welcoming, well spoken and pleasant as well.

We received a fantastic welcome to the hour glass, we were met by Vasu in the bar area who was very attentive and friendly who offered a drink before showing us around. The room was clean as were the shared bathrooms. Beds were really comfy and we all agreed it was probably the best night sleep we had away from home in a long time! Thank you!

Our trip was sponsored by our local carers centre. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have decided it would be something we will be sure to do again in future. The room was super cozy with everything we needed at hand for an incredible price. The staff were very friendly including the locals ~ next time it's my round ;)

The staff was really nice, always there to help or give you advice. The location of the hotel was also really great (close to public transport - buses, tho the area did not seem very safe at night)

The host was extremely helpful and helped us with all we needed and went above beyond with our booking. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom and shower was very clean. There was a bus stop located just outside which was perfect.
