We wanted to change room on a fully booked day and thanks to the gentleman at reception desk we managed to get a better room which enchanted our stay. Many thanks to the friendly staff, we warmly recommend The Portland Hotel.

Absolutely massive room with a fridge and little kitchenette. The heating was full pelt so no danger of being cold.

Nice location, the hotel is located in a traditional Bloomsbury house, lovely atmosphere. Near to underground stations, very convenient for visiting London. Friendly and helpful staff.

Room was good size, kitchenette was vey helpful especially when you’re tired from walking all day, large bed was comfortable.

The room was excellent and located off the main road, therefore very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and very large! Everywhere was clean. Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Conveniently placed property on the Piccadilly line therefore handy for theatre land and Covent garden

Our booked room was not available due to maintenance. The lady at reception did everything she could to ensure we got a similar room in another Grange hotel (the Buckingham). Because of the inconvenience, we even got free breakfast. As we have come to expect from Grange hotels, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Coffee, tea and water was replenished every single day. Staff were very polite and helpful in both hotels. Breakfast was well prepared.
