Breakfast was excellent, maybe only comment was on the quality of coffee. Maybe an upgrade to an individual cafetière and ground coffee, rather than instant?

Situated just outside Lochearnhead and opposite the old Balquhidder station it is a cafe with b&b rooms on the property with a beautiful backdrop. Our room was lovely and cosy with a big easy to open window and a nice big bathroom. Plenty of plug sockets. Dining table in room with two chairs. Everything was considered and we even had two plastic wine glasses for our evening tipple. Comfy huge bed. The proprietors have been there only 6 months (they’re both Staffordshire natives) but already you get the feeling they have many years ahead of them here. They are so welcoming and cannot do enough for you ie they knew we expected a restaurant meal and rang in advance of our visit to explain its a cafe but that food could be prepared for us from there after it’s normal closing time. We stayed twice, on our way to and from Skye.
