The property was clean. A grocery store and a bus stop are nearby. The stay was uncomplicated. Unfortunately, our AC was broken; it was working, but it was leaking water. We contacted the owner of the apartment. It took two days for them to respond, but after that, they arranged for the AC to be replaced the same day, and everything worked just fine.

The spacious and clean room. Bed was comfortable.Its a nice accommodation to stay for the night. You can park on the spot if you communicate in advance with them (€15,-).

+ nice room + close to all public transport ~ was a bit confused where to provide the check-in file. The description was a bit vague. It is actually inside the house

I honesty dont think there's anything the host could have done better or different - nice room (not the largest, but ok), nice comfy chair, nice bathroom, simple and easy checkin, well cleaned. Everything you want. The only thing is the difference from the promenade (some 10´+ minutes walk) and centre of town (at least 15 minutes+) which in my book is too far. The neighbourhood is nice enough, not dodgy or anything. Now if you get a decent price and understand the tradeoff then maybe this is fine, and I did have an excellent stay. But again, i don't think this is what most people will be looking for (if you are going to Lugano/Switzerland on holiday you are not a budget traveller in the first place!!)

The room is big and clean. One of the biggest perks of this place is to have an AC - thanks to the staff (Olinto), we managed to make it work. Lucarno is very hot and humid in the summer. Having AC in the room is much more comfortable.

Clean High ceilings Surprisingly comfortable mattress If you can’t sleep in heat take a room with A/C We had fan was warm …. Window can’t open mosquitoes ( but that’s everywhere)
