Very authentic place, if you want to get a glimpse of the real philippino lifestyle. The location is beautiful, lots of vegetation around and the river Loboc has the prettiest color next to the lodge. We were very happy when almost all restaurants were closed (besides street barbecue), and our host still prepared a delicious meal for us, after returning from an exploration day. It was already 20:30 o’clock, which is considered late for dining in Philippine. We were very happy and grateful for the service received.

The food was very good! The staff was very friendly. The place is beautifully located at the waterfront. The shared bathroom was very clean.

The place looks really beautiful and is near the river where you can swim and there are hammocks to chill. The people who work here are really sweet. It is easy to organise tours like the firefly sup with them. The food is nice. We defenilty prefferd this place above the craziness of Alona. So stay here instead.

I enjoyed my three nights here - it is an extremely memorable place to stay. I was in the shared “dorm” so I can’t comment on the cottages etc The food and drink in the restaurant were great, although the service here could sometimes be slow (that gives more time to chill in the Forest though) The staff were brilliant - I appreciated that they learnt our names and did what they could for us - especially a smiley female staff member who’s name I can’t remember sorry

My fiance proposed to me here so it will obviously always be a special place. The staff was super helpful and coordinated with him to arrange beautiful flowers and a candlelit dinner for us on the deck next to the river. Outside of that moment, the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind throughout our stay. We loved swimming in the river, reading books on the hammocks, laying in the sun outside of our room, getting massages, and eating delicious food and refreshing smoothies daily. There was no hot water in the shared showers but honestly it’s not needed when the weather is so hot and humid. The ecolodge is absolutely beautiful, we really loved how natural yet thoughtfully placed everything is. It is a work of art. Highly recommend the firefly watching on Sup boards at night. We had prebooked at another hotel before knowing WTF ecolodge offered the same for cheaper, so do think about booking when you get here. We also booked a scooter to go to the nearby waterfalls, which were incredible day trips. Twin falls (Pahangog Falls) is the best!! We had an amazing tourguide there, Abling. Ask for him if you can. Highly recommend visiting and highly recommend staying here during your visit to Bohol.

the accommodation is quite cozy. It has its own dock on the river, which we used to go firefly watching. The atmosphere is charming, the staff is friendly, and the food is tasty. A big plus is that payment via a Wise card is accepted — cash is scarce in the Philippines since cards are rarely accepted.

Stunning place! Beautiful garden full of green. You’re in the jungle next to a beautiful river! The people were so incredibly friendly and we loved the chat with all the staff! Food was good and vibe was really relax. There are 3 beautiful tree huts and a dorm. We would recommend the tree hut. It doesn’t have windows or airconditioning but it was a great experience. You’ll definitely make hundred of pictures! Beware that this beautiful place is 45 minute ride to Panglao, so if you just want to be there this might not be the place for you. But pangloa is really touristic but it has a sandy beach.
