The Rose Queen Luxury appartement was clean, very comfortable, the bed was excellent. The host was willing to change the Grey appartement, which has a floor heating to the other one, where there are radiators. We had warm rooms, despite the cold weather outside. Parking. Quiet.

Obviously the location is a long way from the centre but it’s very close to a massive shopping centre complex, Ikea, two hypermarkets (the Mercator next door sells two-packs of Bled cake for less than 3 euro!), etc, which was lucky for me as it was torrential rain during my stay and those were the biggest indoor spots in Ljubljana - something to consider when Ljubljana is such a notoriously wet city! The bus stop is very handy being so nearby, although the buses aren’t that reliable so do allow extra time for your journey. If you like walking then it's walkable; half an hour to the train station and 45 minutes to the main square, I walked more often than waiting for the bus. Room was fine, plenty of kitchen utensils and towels, large fridge, wifi was strong and reliable. The bed was large and comfy with plug sockets on both sides. It was great to have an AC unit with heating, it provided a lovely warm breeze to dry my clothes on the towel rail after I was soaked to the skin every day, and the hot water was reliable too. It was a relief to come back to somewhere warm and cosy after a long day in the cold rain.

The lady was there to give us the keys although it was difficult to get into the property, it should have a door bell. The bus driver called the property for us as we had no phone.

The studio room I stayed in was great - super clean and had everything I needed. I have problems with my back and the bed was really comfortable - in fact I slept better there than I have slept anywhere in ages! Despite being close to a main road you really don't hear anything during the night, or at least, I certainly didn't! In addition the a/c was a Godsend and worked brilliantly for getting the room to the temperature I wanted. The bathroom has a really nice shower with a choice of overhead spray or not, and there was a small kitchen space where you could cook simple dishes if you wanted to (I didn't) but the fridge and kettle were much appreciated, and there was a tea towel, washing up liquid and sponge provided, so it was easy to keep everything nice and clean. It was a great base for my stay in Ljubljana and safe, free parking on-site was the icing on the cake. Lastly, the hosts were very helpful and said I could contact them if I had any questions while there. It's a great place to stay and I would recommend it, especially if you need parking.

Great location and value for money. The host was really kind and helpful. We really appreciated the air conditioner in the heatwave and the fact that there was very little noise.
