Quiet location near to Mersey Ferry and Kingsway tunnel (A59). Lovely breakfast , with a choise of either a big or small full english Dave the owner very helpful with tips on how to get around and what to see. Nice walk on the promenade for an evening meal at the Ferry Pub. Third time we have visited this year, hope to be back again next year.

We had a lovely view of Liverpool skyline from the room. The breakfasts were wonderful, freshly cooked to order. The hotel is right opposite the ferry terminal that goes to Liverpool and so transport to the city was easy... a metro card for about £6 a day covers the ferry, buses and trains. The hotel owner very kindly lent us two cards for the duration of our stay. Very handy hotel in a quiet location with no hassles about car parking.
