Rio and Francois were welcoming, friendly and really informative about the best routes and things to see while in Lisbon. Exactly the sort of local specialists we were hoping for when we booked and nothing was a trouble to them. The room was light, airy and comfortable, with an excellent shower. We went for a room with a Tagus view, and were delighted with the view across the city and over the river, including a spectacular sunset. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice each day and a great view from the balcony space each morning. The restaurant was also excellent, and a very convenient option on arrival. The location was great for exploring historic Lisbon - a stone's throw from the castle, and easy connections to the Metro, buses, trams or just walking around. Would strongly recommend to others, especially couples.

Excellent location between the castle and the cathedral with lots of fascinating places to visit within easy walking distance. Rio and Francois were excellent hosts and went the ‘extra mile’ to help us with any information or extra erequests.
