We caught a green top taxi from the airport to the property and the cost was €48. You might find it cheaper to pre-book or use Uber. I was sent the apartment details and the key codes for the building and room. There is no reception desk. The lift is spacious and we had no issue with using the key codes. Our 2 bed apartment was on the 4th floor which has views of the Cathedral, which is lit up at night and looks lovely. We stayed for 4 nights. The apartment has the wow factor, beautifully presented and very spacious. The host had left a bottle of wine and a bag of biscuits, which was an unexpected gift. The kitchen is well equiped, there is a microwave, coffee machine with coffee pods, tea and sugar. There is a hairdryer, the towels are large and fluffy and were changed once in our stay. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds were very comfy. We were 3 ladies travelling, so we were pleased that there were 2 full length mirrors outside of the bathroom, one in the roomy closet, where there is a plug so you can see easily when drying your hair, the other in the double bedroom. I mention this because a previous reviewer was disappointed there were no mirrors. The location of this apartment was perfect, it's very close to the railway station, trams and buses. There are plenty of restaurants close by. I'd recommend the Italian next door, we ate there twice because the food was so lovely and very reasonable. All in all this apartment is a gem and I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Very spacious apartment. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equiped. It has everything you need and a great location in the city centre. Almost everything is in walking distance. We travelled with baby stroller and were happy that the house has an elevator.

Well located close to the river and main sights with lots of good eating places close by. We were on the second floor but there was a lift and access by code was v easy. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The host was friendly and responsive to any enquiries. I would stay here again.

I'm giving them 10 stars on everything. We were supposed to check in at 3 pm, our flight landed at 9 o'clock in the morning and we arrived at Hermitage Madalena at about 11 o'clock, and our appart was ready for us. The rooms were spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped, and if you need anything, just message them, and they will reply in a few minutes. The location was top 👌 in the heart of Lisbon. Everything was nearby.

The property was an old building but decorated to a high modern standard inside. Great location walking distance to all the main sights. Great facilities including coffee machine, washer, dishwasher etc. Really big rooms light and airy space. And secure too!

Perfect location - 3 minutes from Praca de Figueiro, close to the city center, restaurants, shops, trams, and a metro station. Convenient communication with the host.
