I was very impressed. I chose a room near the Baixa-Chiado Metro deliberately. Senhor Barros was very friendly and welcoming. I had a private bathroom, instead of ensuite, so a little bit worried at first but it was absolutely fine - and designed beautifully. And I had Almada - one of the best wonderful ginger tom - to finish off a fantastic stay in Lisbon. Fingers crossed, I will visit again next time too.

I loved everything about the place! The chic, elegant, almost period decor mixed tastefully with more modern features such as the light fittings. The study/library with a wonderlful loop of classical music, serenely playing in the background, was so peaceful.. My double room, with wooden floors, high ceiling, the oil painting, the shuters, the terrace overlooking the street. And finally, the warmth of welcome from Senhor Antonio.

Excellent location, beautiful artistic common areas, the breakfast room and balcony is stunning. The breakfast itself was amazing. The room was beautiful and looked out onto a tree so it felt living and open even though it’s in the heart of the city. The owner was so kind.

Elegant and charming guest house in quiet location in the heart of lively Chiado. Easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops and other attractions. Delightful host. Generously sized, well appointed room. Excellent self service breakfast around large family style table. A true gem!

Location location location. Old world charm you fell like you’re in another era. No TV. Fab kitchen and well stocked breakfast to help yourself. Spacious rooms. Lovely little balcony.

Excellent location and cleanliness. Many attractions are easily accessible on foot. The central location makes it ideal for fully exploring Lisbon.
