Clean, comfortable hotel in historic part of city. Close to old tram stops. Walks through quaint streets to seafront and square. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Complimentary hot drink machine in reception.

We had a lovely stay, we had read the reviews before booking and were prepared for the steep hill, in fact Alfama is all steep hills so it did not worry us at all. From the warm welcome we received as we arrived until the moment we left we were very happy with everything. The hotel is modern and minimalist but still comfortable and very well maintained. Breakfast was very good with a varied selection of fresh and well prepared breakfast foods. The bed was very comfortable and everything was sparkling clean.

The building itself is unique: a renovated former convent in the heart of the city! The furnishings are meticulous in every detail, and the staff is very friendly.
