It does feel like home. I loved the homemade dinner that we all shared with mama. It's really easy to meet people. Facilities are good. Girls dorms.are on the same floor as the reception and felt really secure.

We stayed in a private room. The room and the bathroom was very clean. The location is very central, walking distance to everywhere so we did not even need to use public transport during our stay. There are daily activities organized by the hostel for the travelers also. Breakfast was also good.

It was easy to access from the metro, in a great neighbourhood, great staff, and it was clean. They have all the comforts of home and welcomed me right away. Mamma's dinner was amazing and highly recommend! I had to wait out a thunderstorm the morning I left and even though I had already checked out they said I could spend all day there if needed before leaving on my Camino. There is a full kitchen for cooking as well, and the bathrooms were clean and equipped with hairdryers.

This hostel was amazing! Great location, near the shops and attractions in the centre of Lisbon. The staff was very friendly and gave me a tour of the hostel when I checked in which made me feel at home right away. They also arranged a free walking tour which was great for meeting new people and seeing the city for those who don't have anything planned yet. It was the best decision to stay here!

I choce this hostel because of the high rating. For me this hostel is in the top 3 of the best hostels I’ve been to and I’ve been to around 20 and counting. For me Home Lisbon Hostel shares spots with Oh Bangkok Hostel and Amistat Island Hostel Ibiza for good quality of life and bang for your buck. I enjoyed the staff, the nice people in the rooms, the dinner, the pub crawls and the walking tour.

Best location in Lisbon. I would gladly come back. They make you feel so welcomed and at home. You must try mama's dinner, it is an extra 15 euro. But absolutely well worth the price. It is incredible. The breakfast is also worth it and delicious. The location is perfect, everything is clean.

The sense of community. It felt like a family, which is even more impressive given the turnover of guests. The atmosphere lent itself to constantly pulling in more people. Loved the decor as well!
