I have stayed before in other hostels from this chain. And this one definitely presents the worst price for value ratio. The room is €28 +4 euros of city tax. In the end it’s €32 per night. For a little S 1215 or €16, you can find much better deals in similar location. The staff is very nice. Free breakfast very good. But the building is rundown and many things do not work. In the end I like this chain, but because of above mentioned, I wouldn’t stay again in this very host. Although I still will try them in other cities. I liked that the heating in the room was enough to heat it up and the temperature was very pleasant despite of me being there in winter.

Copious breakfast, with a variety on offer capable of suiting most tastes and needs. Location is at the heart of Lisbon, close to both Saldanha and Liberdade avenue, yet quiet and comfy. Had been there before and will probably stay again when I travel to Lisbon. Wi-fi works fine all over the place.

HI Lisboa - Pousada de Juventude was a good stay overall. Although breakfast wasn't included, the accommodation itself was fine, and the location was convenient for getting around Lisbon.

Breakfast was good simple continental served between 8-10 and included in the price. Location is less than 5 mins from Picaosa metro stop and 20mins from Lisbon square. My stay was excellent because Carol helped me so much with my ceck in credit card trouble and was so sweet and friendly she was brilliant

Location was awesome (two metro stations near by - Parque & Marquês). The main bus / train station is only a couple of stops away too. Easy to get to the center (Rossio) within a 20-30min walk. Breakfast was simple but everything needed (cereal, fruits, yogurts, coffee machine, milk & fruit juice, bread, toaster, ham / cheese, jams & butter) to feel satisfied before heading out for a long day. Elevator working properly. Shared bathrooms were overall clean and the hot water worked perfectly in the showers. I was in a female 6-bedroom bed but luckily we were only 3 persons staying and my roommates were super quiet and discreet. We kept the window open during the night because of the hot weather but we didn't have any problem with noise from the outside. I also arrived a bit earlier than the predicted check in time, the staff was super nice and took the payment and kept my bags until the room was ready. They also kept my bag for a couple of hours after check it and it was a free service.

This was a convenient stop over place to stay in one night only. I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay but the price was very convenient indeed! Please note that the taxi from the airport overcharged us, like thirty euros. To return to the airport, an Uber charged us the correct price of thirteen euros. So beware!
