The location was much better than we expected! Very happy with how everything was near. Of course there are hills but that’s not the apartment’s fault. Surrounded by fabulous restaurants.

5 out of 5. Location was perfect, adjacent Carmo Convent. Access to train station and metro was 5-7 minute walk. Stroll to Miradouro de Sao Pedro was 10-15 minutes, and allowed breathtaking views especially at sunset. A few grocery and convenience stores nearby. Restaurants abound in every direction. Safe area such that I allowed my teenagers to walk home after dark. Besides location, the unit presented as recently renovated, was well laid out and stocked with needed items. Beds were comfortable. Unit was clean. Showers and water pressure were great. Washing machine with dryer was a huge plus for my family. Sleeper sofa in living area was bigger than expected and very comfortable, if needed. Welcome bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Bernardo was accessible and helpful.

The property had a useful set of instructions and restaurant recommendations which we gladly used. Honestly the place looked much better than in the photos. The immediate area even had a couple really nice city views spots though due to terrain, lots of ups and downs, could be challenging for wheelchair bound people and similar situations. Our host Susanna was very friendly and attentive. Would go back!
