Honor “Great value for money & well situated!”

Cosy apartment well situated at the base of the main road from Liptov M to Jasna. Host was super accommodating, quick to respond to any queries over messages and generally friendly. Good bathroom, comfy beds, decent Television. Good kitchenette facilities although the table in the room is small for everyone to eat together we managed. Ski bus stop is close, and while a bit of a faff the bus kept to the timetable and we usually got a seat as it is one of the first stops up the mountain. Jasna is a great resort, it is definitely worth waking up early to make the most of the snow and to avoid any crowds. Some helpful Tips: - Bolt works as the taxi app if flying into Poprad Tatry and is 25% the local companies will try to charge you if you’re English. We did Taxi, Train and Bus combo to get to the apartment which was straightforward and saved lots of € compared to a transfer. - If under 30 the European Youth Card which is c10€ to purchase saves some serious money on the Jasna Ski Pass. - The Cave of Liberty near to Jasna resort is a must see. Unfortunately no tours in English but a great cave and well worth the visit ! - The coop near the apartment is adequate but we did a big shop at the Tesco a 10 min drive away and it made a big difference. - If you can hire a car gives more freedom of course but we managed just fine on public transport though google maps isn’t very accurate and Slovakian rail / bus websites are way more accurate. - If you are a true beginner at skiing there’s a small resort at Demanova Dolina very close to the apartment (one stop on the bus) with a good nursery slope to practice on.
