The apartment is very stylish with good quality fixtures and fittings. It had everything we needed with some very welcome extras too! It was lovely and warm which was needed during this very cold spell.

Really beautiful apartment, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Also very clean and quiet. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities with lots of very hot water. Location was superb, easy to walk to Lincoln cathedral, castle, shops and restaurants. Parking is a bonus! Views were nice but not overwhelming (some reviews described it as 'stunning') but this did not detract from a lovely 2-night stay. Thank you to Valerie for the extra touches, they were much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Cosy with great view. Great location for exploration of the cathedral quarter and castle. Everything carefully thought out for our comfort and relaxation.

The Rector's retreat is in an excellent location both to explore the Cathedral area and also, head down the hill into the city centre. The apartment was tastefully furnished; it's obviously had a sympathetic refurbishment which works well. A nice view out into the garden (not currently accessible) and there's a seating area on a raised wooden deck. There is an adjacent apartment so the deck would be shared, albeit with defined areas. That may be something to consider on a long summer's evening. it has a well appointed kitchenette, which we used to good effect for a nice cooked breakfast. a tv in the lounge/dining room and one in the bedroom, a great shower and a standard sized bath too. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and would happily have extended our stay if time allowed.
