The employed staff who run the business were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is superb, with a wide choice of cereals, meat, cheese and pastries. Gluten free options readily available. The owners are committed to environmental sustainability with locally sourced food, eco-friendly products, recycling, etc. High quality furnishings throughout.

Very clean, staff friendly, lots of nice touches with tea, coffee and fridge in the room. Couldn’t hear noise from other rooms either. So close to everything we wanted to see!

Spacious comfortable clean superbly located with stunning views of city and sky. Front row from bedroom window of sunrise and sunset, and once at breakfast we were lucky enough to watch the red arrows practising their display! Staff are super friendly and professional. Delicious breakfast, cooked and continental. We couldn't have asked for more, we had a super time in Lincoln which is a fascinating ancient city with it's stunning cathedral lit up at night and tours of the Old castle walls and Victorian prison!

The breakfast was very good and certainly filled us up for the day , we had one room which was great but the bed just wasn’t suitable for us, after chatting with the owner , we changed rooms , this bed was just excellent and so comfy . The location was perfect as we went to Lincoln to go to the cathedral,we just went out the back gate and could see the castle , it was up hill but we paved ourselves ( old people) 😂 . We would definitely recommend the poplars

We had a very nice welcome . The place is a lovely, cozy place. Everyone who works there was so friendly and helpful. Rooms are well laid out, with everything we could want for our stay. The location is absolutely brilliant. No street noise in the night. All the main attractions and delicious eateries are all within 5 mins walk.

Booked this trip last minute so we didn't arrive till after 6.30pm, greeted by friendly staff on our arrival. Was taken to our room, beautiful room with everything you needed for your stay. Breakfast was extra it you wanted a full English which was well worth it. Plenty of choice on the breakfast menu if you didn't which was included in the price. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay would definitely come back if we come to visit lincoln again. Close to everything only a 10 minute walk to the castle and cathedral, plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Thank you for a lovely stay. X
