The hotel is in an amazing location opposite the cathedral and makes it great for exploring. In our short stay we explored the old town, town centre, waterfront and Aboretum. The hotel is looking a bit tired and could do with a refresh. Room walls are thin as could hear people using the bathroom in the room next door. Great value for overnight parking.

We would like to be able to check in earlier, as we always have to leave our luggage at reception and don't check in until the evening as we like to shop and eat and drink in Lincoln and dont want to have to walk back up the hill twice to check in . I have stayed at the Hotel 5 times now and it is always the same.

The location was excellent, with a lovely view of the cathedral. It is in easy walking distance to a variety of shops and restaurants. There is a lovely lounge to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a great selection of food in the breakfast buffet. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Best place ever in regards to the view at breakfast. Located perfectly. One big improvement to be made is the shower as this was really shabby in comparison with the rest of the room and hotel in general

Love the location. The hotel is a bit tired. The furniture in the room is old and scruffy, as was the paint work which definitely needed a spruce up. The bed was not that comfortable, it sagged badly and the base was so old it was shedding its filling underneath. Having said all that we love staying there for its location. But it is rather expensive condidering the shabby rooms. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff.
