We loved the location situated on the wharf and giving us great access to the city centre and its many sights. The hotel is 'dog friendly' which meant we were able to bring our Labradoodle with us. Breakfast was buffet style and offered a good variety of hot and cold foods and is highly recommended. All the staff we encountered were excellent and the hotel also offered secure parking on site.

Booking in was a piece of cake, staff very efficient and friendly. Got to room which was very spacious and clean. Shower and bath. Only downside was I was going on a night out and had to apply make up but the lighting wasn’t very good, for applying makeup.

The hotel was very well situated for exploring the city and walking along the canal. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We didn't use the bar, restaurant or gym so can't comment on those. The staff we very friendly when checking in.

The helpfulness of staff, especially Bradley and Emma. We are old and my wife is disabled. Bradley didn't have to be asked, he took luggage up including extra chairs! Room was big with superb disabled facilities. Breakfast was perfect with great choices.

Excellent location. Decor really nice and included the history of the previous site. Staff very friendly and professional. The gym was very good with quality equipment.
