The fine print
A penalty of US$ 250 will be charged for smoking in the room.In accordance with Peru's fiscal regulations, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying over 59 days in Peru) are required to pay 18% sales tax. To be exempt from paying the 18% sales tax, guests must present a copy of their immigration card and of their passport.It is necessary to present both documents in order to qualify for sales tax payment exemption. Otherwise, guests will have to pay the indicated tax. This tax is applicable in the case of rooms shared by guests who have to pay the sales tax and guests exempt from paying the sales tax.Foreign business guests who request a printed invoice are also required to pay 18% sales tax, regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This tax is not automatically included in the total amount of the reservation.

The room was spacious and very comfortable - especially the bed! Frank was an excellent host always on hand if we needed him but never intrusive. Enjoyed the breakfast - the home made pineapple jam/marmalade was delicious.

The Hotel is in the center of Miraflores and an absolute recommendation when you stay in Lima. Frank and Anna are so nice people and gave us many tips for our stay in Lima.

Ana Frank maintain a lovely property in the wonderful Miraflores district. It's within walking distance of all tourist spots and good restaurants. Larcomar is a short can ride away and will cost you approximately 3-4 USD. The property itself is gorgeous with luxurious furnishings and you can clearly see the attention to detail. A small breakfast is provided every morning and you also have access to a fully functional kitchen if you need anything. The couple were gracious to allow us to keep our luggage and use the restroom even after we checked out since our flight was later in the evening.

Ana Frank Boutique Hotel is a beautiful, centrally-located residence in Miraflores. We arrived at midnight after a 35-hour flight from Australia and owner Frank was there to greet us. Our room was very comfortable (excellent mattress!), and every floor has been beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We were so happy that we booked the hotel again for our final days in Lima at the end of our trip.

Good neighbourhood. Many things in walking distance (parks, restaurants, markets). Frank was very friendly and always ready to help out. Airport transfer was very convenient even early morning at 6am. Very comfortable (large) beds.

The breakfast was a simple continental one with fruit, eggs, toast and home made jam. Good coffee and tea to finish. The room and common areas were of high quality, quiet and efficient. The location in Mia Flores was very central to great restaurants, shops and parks. Our hosts were friendly, professional and very helpful. They made us feel it was a home away from home!
