The fine print
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

Pros: good location near centro histórico, beautiful old building, rooftop terrace, good price, light breakfast included (2 pieces of bread, watermelon, coffee, juice), great showers, kitchen

we stayed in a private double room for 3 nights - it was perfect for what we needed, the communal areas in the hostel were good, nice spacious rooftop with yoga mats available, kitchen had the basic equipment required for a meal. toilets were clean and nice, the reception staff were SO helpful and nothing ever felt any trouble for them, good recommendations from them on how to get places / bus routes - close to a bus stop to get to miraflores & barranco. they really went above and beyond! around 20 min walk to plaza de armes, hostel hosts a free daily walking tour however we didn't get chance to do this but looks good! breakfast was basic but nice, located in the bar next door which was bright and lovely inside. hostel felt safe & secure, with a locked door from the outside.

Everything was super nice during our stay. The building is very cool, well-kept. Great breakfast,clean showers with hot water 😇Becca at reception was very helpful and very kind. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The building is old but maintain in a fair condition, the clearness of the restroom could be better. My room has a window above the patio of the bar downstairs which could be disturbing at night because of the loud music. No AC in the room so it is kind of hot. Access to bathroom and public area and luggage storage is really convenient.

The people at the hostel were incredibly kind and absolutely helpful. One staff member even lent me their own charger when mine didn’t work. The information they provided about the city, security, and tips was 10/10. The breakfast was good, the view was beautiful, and the location was in a safe part of the city. It was clean and quiet at night. Highly recommend!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was very clean, even the toilets and showers. There was breakfast included, which was basic but a real bonus. The rooftop area is a lovely place to sit, especially when the hostel cat uses you as a warm cushion.

Everything was perfect: the location, the atmosphere, the service, the breakfast and most importantly, the staff. There are always people who will help you with whatever you need. A special thanks to Alex from reception. The bathrooms were really clean. The coworking space is super nice, as well as the common areas.
