A beautiful hotel located away from the centre, compensated by its location right under the ski jumps. The entire hotel is steeped in Birkebeiners history, historical shots of Lillehammer and art by contemporary artists. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and supportive. We enjoyed a great sauna and a very good breakfast. Also positive about the self-service bar at the reception, the late check-out (until 12) and of course Rituals cosmetics! We will be more than happy to stay again next time.

Very conveniently location for yearly cross country ski Birkebeiner participants. Nice view to mountains. Reasonably priced. Taste breakfast, served at the day of competition from 04 a.m.

The staff are very welcoming, helpful & informative. The rooms are spacious & comfortable, shower is great. Free coffee is great. Picnic lunch for 75 nok is great. Electric charger outside hotel is good, once you've worked out how to use it! Breakfast rolls at 4am were a very welcome alternative to normal breakfast (which started later).

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Excellent accommodation in the chalet apartment and hotel rooms. Good tips about where to go and what activities to do. Ideal location within walking distance down to the town and up to the ski jumping, toboganning and cross-country skiing. Our third time here and looking forward to the next trip.

Great value for money! Would stay again in winter or summer. Great rooms with a view and breakfast is great as well. Staff were amazing
