Good for a night stay before travelling to the border as there are not many hotel options in La Cruz. She gave me a private room and I was very happy with it

Abuela was super nice! Good place to stay for a day on transit. Not even 2 minutes walk to the bus station. Beds were encapsulated. AC in the room.

A simple spot, well located near the bus terminal, great to stay one night while commuting. Friendly and helpful hosts. 10-15 min. walk into the city center for bars & co.

The Hostel is close to the bus station. All you need is there. Good equipped kitchen with a dining area. Very clean and an absolutely friendly helpful staff. Thank you 🥰

Given that the hostel serves mostly as an overnight stop before/after the border-crossing, I expected it to be very basic but it turned out to be a pretty comfortable (even if a little dated) place with a nice kitchen (including a rarely rich spice-rack), great beds, AC, good showers, reliable although inconsistent wi-fi and the most welcoming, charming and interesting hostess imaginable.
