The host was very informative when I arrived He helped me with connecting taxis, shuttles and buses. The whole atmosphere was friendly and caring. I am so happy with everything at Hostel Pretal.

The location of the hostel is great. It is far enough away from the main streets to be quiet but close enough to walk to restaurants and the main square. The hostel is welcoming and comfortable. I will happily stay here again when I am in Liberia.

The hostel is ran by a family who literally take care of you as if you are their family! The best hostel I have stayed in Costa Rica by far! . The location, rooms and facilities were a great place to hangout and chill with other travellers. There was hot showers, a fully fitted kitchen for communal use and the atmosphere was peaceful for a good nights sleep. Perfect location to visit Rincon De La Viejo. I also received free laundry and the kindness overall by the family was beyond words. I will always be eternally grateful for the hospitality thank you .

Unfortunately did not have breakfast but room and accommodations were fabulous!! Hosts went above and beyond to see that our needs were met!! 💯 would recommend!!
