Dodero Hostel is a good option for a short stay in Liberia. It’s conveniently located near the city center and bus stop, and my room was clean and cozy.

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy little hostel in Costa Rica! The room had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the heat, and the hot water in the shower was such a treat. For the price, it's an incredible value, especially considering how expensive some places in Costa Rica can be. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—always making sure I had everything I needed and that I felt at home. The hostel has a small and cozy vibe, which made it even more relaxing. Plus, the local market is just a 5-minute walk away, so it’s super convenient. Highly recommend staying here!

I was not expecting to have AC in a hostel which was huge! Also the TV was connected to netflix so i was able to enjoy movies in my own language.

The hostel had a really beautiful outdoor kitchen/courtyard area with hammocks and tables, which was a really nice place to hang out. The rooms were simple but considering the price it was all great. The location was close to the main bus stop too which is helpful for access and also when travelling to new destinations.

Receptionist was great. He told us a lot of tips about exploring Costa Rica. Escpecially helped with info about public transport.
