Very clean property with amazing lake view and rich history. The building was originally built in 565. So you literally staying in a piece of history!!! Amazing! Also, hosts were absolutely amazing, very helpful and looked after us so well! Definitely recommend it!

The room (in a lovely historical setting) was clean and spacious with a very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast (served in the restaurant next door) is very good with a lot of choice. Sylvia, the landlady, is very friendly and welcoming. She helped us plan our visits of the lake. The restaurant (Osterio Il Governo) serves delicious local food.

Amazing room and an amazing stay. The staff were great and the room was so good we couldn't believe it. Its a great restomod of its original building with modern touches. The bathroom was very nice and the facilities too. The bed was very comfortable and the room was great too. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic

We really enjoyed the atmosphere in and around this place. The couple who ran the place are friendly and easy to have contact with, we felt welcome. The rocky beach was just across the street, and the rural surroundings perfect for walking when just spotted them. Bus-stop and boat-stop nearby, perfect for visiting / sightseeing like a trip to Bellagio. Excellent food (amazing pasta among everything else, and excellent breakfast!), in La Corte del Governo, and also some other local restaurants can be worth a visit.

It is a beautifully restored building with all the amenities you can wish for, including a nice shower and AC. The breakfast is amazing and the people are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Everything was absolutely amazing and exceptional. Absolutely atmospheric place and location super convenient - close by the boat station, access to the lake, parking, osteria - next door. Very clean. Host made everything for us to feel special and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Sheer perfection. The food. The hospitality. The beauty. The cleanliness. I genuinely had the most perfect holiday, thanks especially to Silvia and Pietro! Despite my flight getting delayed 3 hours, Silvia met me walking from the bus stop and her family still ensured that I had the most delicious dinner ever. Seriously…at the first bite of the carbonara I think even my ancestors smiled. Now *that* is how pasta should taste! Not least after a chaotic travel day and extraordinarily hectic past few weeks, I felt so moved the minute I arrived, just taking everything in and that sense of finally feeling so at peace. The room was gorgeous and my balcony let me overlook bits of the lake as well. The view of the lake at mealtimes was perfection. I only had to walk a minute to access the private beach, where I spent every afternoon. I a review complaining about it being a pebble beach but… come on now, it’s a lake! I was not expecting white sandy shores lol. The water was clear and lovely, with space for shade and sunbathing. Staff at the hotel took care of everything. Transport options were simple with the bus and ferry; I didn’t have a car but didn’t need one. I met such friendly people. Life there for those three days was simple but exquisite and sheer bliss. Excellent communication and kind welcome from the owner. The hotel is so beautiful with loads of character and rooms are finished to a very high standard and are stunning. Really comfortable beds and superb breakfast! We had dinner in the restaurant, food and service were excellent. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

We were met from the bus (bus stop 8) by Sylvia who welcomed us to Lezzeno and showed us the entrance to La Corte Del Governo 565 up a small alleyway off the Main Street. Once we were through the door we entered a lovely little court yard and were shown upstairs to our room. The room was great, spacious, spotlessly clean with good fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food available. Sylvia was a great hostess who went above and beyond to make our stay a fantastic time.
