The property was first class in every way - rooms amazing, food exceptional and service hit exactly the right note, great for our dog lots of space for her to run around - breakfast in the room a huge plus and we didn’t feel we missed out choice wise

Really loved the arrival experience, being greeted at the car outside the house, and then directed to the new block where we were greeted again outside and chaperoned in. The food and the ambience of the hotel were perfect. The room was lovely and to have the outside terrace was amazing. The hotel staff friendly and attentive while not being in your face. We eat dinner in the restaurant and had a lovely table by the window and the staff were fun and not overly stuffy.

The staff were universally fantastic- polite, spoke excellent English, were well informed and extremely well trained. In some very up market hotels with Michelin restaurants the junior staff seem anxious lest they make errors. Not here. They were so well trained and confident that they were a joy to deal with . The grounds are lovely. The food fabulous with a wonderful dinner at reasonable cost. The breakfast was excellent - I wish we could have eaten more of it.
