Unfortunately We didn’t have any heating in our room, the nice young lady from reception said it would automatically come on at 5pm when it hadn’t at 6.45 we went down to reception to find it all closed up and no staff around.

We stayed at Ostau Dera Nheu during our trip to Val d’Aran last Christmas Holiday and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is convenient, right by the main road, making it easy to drive to nearby towns or ski slopes. Vielha, the major city in the area, is a great spot for dining and is highly recommended. The room was cozy and stayed warm even in freezing outdoor temperatures, which was a huge plus. The shower was great, though the bathroom was small and didn’t have heating - keeping the bathroom door open helped maintain a comfortable temperature. Free parking was a welcome perk, and the views from the room (though framed by small windows) were quite nice. The breakfast was fair and met our expectations.

The accommodation can be distinguished by a good price-quality ratio. The studio offers basic cooking utensils. It provided us with a good base to explore this interesting valley at the Spanish-French border.

Amazing value and so friendly. All very easy. I don’t speak Spanish and they did not speak English. All smiles and things get sorted - lovely time.

Great room, really large and spacious. Comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi. Nice restaurant and acceptable food
