Bed and Breakfast Overview

Located 16 km from Saumur Train Station, Villa Chanelle offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. Dany is an excellent cook who prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners (dinners aren't available every night) taking account of an allergy that one of us has. She and her husband were also very friendly and helpful, including making restaurant bookings for us. The rooms all have a view over the river Loire (sadly very dry this summer). The area has a variety of historic chateaux and other places of interest which we enjoyed visiting.

Good location on thr banks of the Loire . Excellent home made French breakfast. Unusual quirky rooms. Proprietor was most helpful.Walking distance to village facilities.

Excellent breakfast with home grown strawberries, home made yoghurt, fresh breads, cheeses and meats and freshly squeezed orange juice. Tea and coffee free flowing.
