Nyepi Laut celebration on 18 October 2024. Nyepi Laut is a day of silence on the ocean celebrated each year in the waters surrounding Nusa Lembongan.
It is a day of prayer, meditation and celebration of the ocean, which means complete silence on the waters. No boats and no water activities.
Abiding by the Nyepi Laut rules is a legal requirement by all people in Nusa Lembongan and those who do not abide will be reprimanded by the local authorities.
If you are planning on getting to the island or leaving by boat, you will have to make changes to your booking.
We would love for you to stay with us during this time and apologize if it does cause any inconvenience to your holiday plans, but unfortunately, this is out of our control.

Nyepi Day celebration on March 29th, 2025. Nyepi is a day of silence celebrated each year in Indonesia, mainly observed in Bali and the Nusa Islands it is a day of prayer, meditation and complete silence.
Abiding by the Nyepi rules is a legal requirement by all people in Bali and on the Nusa Islands and those who do not abide will be reprimanded by the local authorities.
The Aqua Nusa Group will still be taking bookings over this period, however, there are some rules enforced by the authorities that our guests must abide by.
• No check-in or check-out during the Nyepi period • No boats will be traveling to or from the island • Guests must not go outside their villa or room • No electricity will be provided to the island • Water will be turned off and won’t be working in your room • Ohana’s restaurant will not be open • There will be no room service offered and no staff available • Some 3G services will be turned off by the Indonesian Government.
The only exception to these rules is if you are in need of urgent medical assistance.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Access to the beach; views of the turqoise water from the banana lounges were lovely. The friendliness of some staff. Proximity to Ginger Jamu cafe next door which is far better value for money for dining and has much more relaxing ambient music. The landscaping around our room was just lovely, making the little patio a really nice place to sit.
